Our Culture

Premier Medical Associates provides a work environment that values and respects its employees.

Our company philosophy is one that believes the actions of its employees should be motivated by one goal, to provide patients with compassionate, caring and quality service.

As new technology becomes available that will improve patient care, we strive to keep pace with new technologies by continuously providing training for our employees ensuring that they understand new procedures or applications. If extra assistance is needed that training is provided.

Training is provided to all new employees as part of the week long new hire orientation. Before going to the actual work site, our new hire orientation process was designed to give the employees an understanding of our company philosophy, benefits package, policy and procedures, and computer applications.

We recognize and reward individual achievement and involvement. The performance appraisal process incorporates the feedback from the supervisor and physicians as well as the employee themselves.

An employee satisfaction committee brings issues and ideas to the senior administration team of the company. The committee meets once a month. These suggestions and ideas are welcomed and considered by senior administration.

Teamwork is a key to not only the individual employee's success but that of the company as a whole. Our company strives to provide an environment that promotes and acknowledges teamwork. To compliment teamwork in the work environment, our company provides social activities for its employees. Among these are a corporate- sponsored picnic and a holiday party for employees and their guests.

Premier Medical Associates has a strong commitment to charitable endeavors. Employees are urged to participate in the many company-sponsored fundraisers and activities which raise monies for local and national charities. In 2009 our employees raised $15,000 for breast cancer. Premier Medical matched the employee contribution 100%, making the total donation $30,000. In 2011, Premier Medical was a diamond sponsor for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, held on May 8 in Schenley Park.

The administration and supervisors of Premier Medical Associates strive to provide a flexible, challenging and rewarding work experience. The management team of the company receives numerous training to continually improve the relationship between itself and the employees as well as providing better patient care. Most of the administration and supervisors have participated in the Toyota Management Program and constantly apply these principles to their daily duties.
