Premier Medical Associates Team Raised $8,70 for Komen Pittsburgh Race for the Cure

PMA commits to Diamond Sponsorship in fight against breast cancer

June 23, 2011, Pittsburgh, PA – Premier Medical Associates, the largest independent multi-physician practice in the Greater Pittsburgh area, has announced that their "Premier in Pink" team raised $8,700 for the Susan G. Komen Pittsburgh Race for the Cure® to fight breast cancer.  In addition, Premier committed $35,000 towards the fight
against breast cancer as a diamond sponsor for 2011.

The Premier Medical Associate team included 208 people, which was the largest Health Care Team in the Komen Pittsburgh Race, and was comprised of doctors, patients, administrative staff and management, as well as their families.

"It was an honor for all of us at Premier Medical Associates to be able to give back to our community and donate funds to fight breast cancer", said Mark DeRubeis, CEO of Premier Medical Associates.  "It was an inspirational day for all of us, and we are very pleased that we were able to pass our original goal of $1,000 to give more that will support breast cancer awareness and research".
