Premier Welcomes Daniel Goldman, M.D., F.A.C.P. and Anthony G. Johnson, M.D.

PITTSBURGH, PA - February 13, 2013 – Premier Medical Associates (PMA) has announced that Daniel Goldman, M.D., F.A.C.P., and Anthony G. Johnson, M.D. have joined the company’s growing Internal Medicine and Cardiology Departments. In addition, Emily M. Caldwell, PA-C, will be joining the One Monroeville Center location as a certified Physician’s Assistant in the Gastroenterology department.

Dr. Daniel Goldman joins the Internal Medicine team at Premier’s North Versailles location. Dr. Goldman attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine to obtain his medical degree (M.D.), and completed his residency in the Primary Care Program in Internal Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Goldman has a special interest and experience in preventative care and evidence-based medicine.

Dr. Anthony Johnson joins the Cardiology department at One Monroeville Center. Johnson obtained his medical degree (M.D.) from the University of California Irvine School of Medicine and completed an internal medicine residency and fellowship from Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts. Dr. Johnson also completed an electrophysiology fellowship from the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Johnson is board certified in cardiology and has extensive experience in advanced heart failure management. He is a current member of the Heart Rhythm Society and the Heart Failure Society of America.

Emily Caldwell joins Premier’s team of certified Physician Assistants. Her work includes diagnosis and treatment of patients, along with supporting the team of hospitalists at the One Monroeville Center location. Caldwell gained her B.S. in Biology from Saint Vincent College, and her Physician Assistant, Master’s Degree of Science from Seton Hill University. Prior to joining PMA she worked at Southwestern Gastrointestinal Specialists.
